Default Pretty Excited find

Been wanting to buy some Clase Azul Reposado for some time, but always bought something else when ordering online, and heard some troubles with shipping because of possible leaks.

Anyways i ran out to the liquor store in CT the other night right before closing, to grab something for my wife, and what it staring me in the face. Clase Azul Repo. Snatched up a bottle, and went on my way. So if anyone in CT area has been wanting to try this tequila I Liquor Depot in New Britain has it. There were 3 375ml bottles and a few larger bottles.

I know to most of you this isnt such a big find, but for us here in New England its nice to see an addition like this become available.

Dang New Britain is a haul.
But Clase Azul Repo is a great Tequila and that's the first New England sighting I have heard of.

How much did they go for?

Out in California last week for a little r and r. Rest and reposado, that is Got to try Clase Azul repo for the first time.

At first, I thought, "my goodness, there is more in here than just agave!" I thought just by the aroma that the glass that it had been served in had not been washed after something else with sweet spice had been in it. But no! The glass was perfectly clean. It was the tequila.

I loved it once I relaxed into its one-of-a-kind sweet and spiciness. Turns out the tequila is aged in sherry, bourbon and cognac casks and I suppose it is that blending that lends all of those fascinating flavors and aromas.

I have a couple of bottles on the way as we speak. That's how much I loved it!

Well, Drundnick, do you like it?!?

It was thoroughly enjoyed.

It was 58.99 for 375ml and 90 for 750ml
