Default TOOL and tequila!

Last week, I met up with sarah's bro in st Paul at Tequila Barrio where we got to taste some great tequilas from their pretty extensive collection. Turned him onto the Casa Noble line and he,too, fell in love with it.

Top that off with a shuttle ride to the xcel energy center for kick ass seats to see TOOL. They were fantastic, my first time seeing them. That drummer is astounding! Great night.

We are gonna go for the tequila experience again as I just got 10th row tickets to see Roger Waters do The Wall in its entirety!

Too damn bad the only tequila they serve at the xcel center is cuervo gold. And I compliment it by calling it tequila. I'd sooner be Monsoned out in the middle of nowhere than lost the respect of my friends on t.net by drinking cuervo gold. Ish.

Maybe I can sneak in a flask of real tequila for the Roger Waters show. Nope, not maybe... Just gonna do it!

Nice, never did see Tool, just missed Iron Maiden. Nice score on the Roger Waters' tickets, wanted to go but it's about 2 hours from here and about $150-200 a ticket...I'll pass, buy the dvd and spend the rest on tequila!!

Damn, am jealous about seeing Tool again. I've seen them at least 4 times, once in a small theater in Seattle that was their first stop on the 10,000 Days tour. Very amazing, each time I see them. I'm sure they were just as good, but as usual they don't seem to make it this far south in the world!! I envy you!

Garret knows this, but I have to brag. Last year at Lollapalooza, I managed to get the tequila brand I was working for backstage to sponsor the bands to get exposure. I had the pleasure of giving out tequila to alot of the bands. I got to meet the bass player of tool and give him two bottles of our repo!!!!

TO boot, Im a bass player and I LOVE Tool! What a rush to meet their bass player!

Ah the memories of pushing out teuial on all the bands at Lollapalooza...... That memory will last me forever.

Xian, did Comisario suffer the same fate as the many other new products that were released in '08 and '09? They had the right idea (priced a too high tho). Haven't seen it for a while, and bevmo discontinued it too. Hope they are still afloat.

I believe the best way to answer that question *45* is to receive it straight from the brand itself. Comisario is alive and well, under new management and new ownership. We continue to bring brand awareness to the forefront and have re-established relationships under new leadership. The unfortunate situation with BevMo was that our product had no fighting chance from the beginning. The retailer chose to place a high retail price tag on Comisario --- one of which was not anywhere near our suggested retail price. Long story short, the brand continues to push forward even in this tough economy. Thank you for the mention

Very glad to hear Comisario is still avlive. I have liked it from my first sip and as my bottles were running low I have been looking to get replacements. HiTimes only had the Blanco the last time I was in, but I will keep looking.
