It's not the same juice, definitely not now.

Tezon is $20 as well in NJ, and it tastes much smoother and better than the new Espolon.

That's a great price on that Tezon chefrob! I would grab as many as those as I could! The prices on that juice here in Fla. are crazy high! There aren't that many remaining but the prices range from $40+ for the blanco to $55+ for the anejo. Personally, I have always enjoyed the full line of Tezon's offerings.

To my great surprise, I found Espolon for sale here in Nashville! I was in the city's largest liquor store last Saturday, and there on the bottom shelf near the cheap stuff...there it was. And at $18.99, that actually beats the price I had paid in Florida a few months ago. I was savoring the bottle I had left from FL, but now maybe I can mix with it as well. I have to say, though, I have a hard time mixing this stuff; seems a shame since it tastes so good by itself.

I was never fortunate enough to try the old juice, although I see many of you did, and like it better. But this new stuff is great, especially for the price. Like others have mentioned, I hope they start bottling an anejo!

Default Espolon Anejo

Espolon does make an Anejo, just got some in Cabo for $25. Not sure if they export it, but it is good, just a bit thinner than I like in an Anejo.

I'm a big fan of Espolon itself, but not a big fan of the new packaging. Too simplistic, nothing special about it.

The Anejo has a picture of an eagle in-flight coming down to grab something, but there is nothing shown that it's trying to get. Just left to the imagination I guess.

At any rate, it is great tequila at a great price.
