Default Hijos de Villa pistol reposado....

Has anybody heard anything about this? I picked it up for like 2.00 so Im not out anything if its crap. Its a really cool conversation piece if its not worth drinking. I cant find too much about it on the net...no reviews of the juice anyway. Anyone on here tried it? Let me know what you thought about it.

I have not had this brand before, I have seen only three presentations from this brand, the pistol which I believe is 200 ml, a bullet shaped bottle which I believe is 750 ml and a riffle shaped bottle which is a 1.5 lt. All three are only available with reposado tequila.

I do believe that it is a mixto, but I'm not sure. It would make a nice conversation piece though.

It's from the same distillery that makes Solo, which I quite like.

I've tried this. Managed to find a place down here in Auckland that had all three versions. I was surprised. Not a mixto, 100%. It's actually not bad tequila. We both liked it a bit and were glad we cracked the bottle, which is long been emptied.

Thanks for the replies guys....but i think it will remain sealed. It just looks so good sitting there...and it is a very cool piece and people DO say...."where did you get THAT"? So even if its not most expensive bottle...the cool factor is way up there!

X.

I looked at the one in my local liquor store yesterday and it didn't say 100% on it so I am assuming it may be an older one that is a mixto. As a matter of fact, it's listed as a mixto in the review section of this site.
