Blanco bout...

Both tequilas are great and have their distinct personality, I personally like the 4 copas a little more than CNC. I guess I still like my tequilas to have SOME kick in them, especially a blanco. CNC is VERY smooth though.

Repo...
Corzo has left more than a couple burn marks on my tongue, and the penca azul is a strong tequila with nice flavors. I love the Corzo bottle, its a replica of the modern art museum in guadalajara.. but thats it... oh and they tend to be one of the few booths playing the sex apeal card at tastings ive been to. Tequila and sex don't () mix.

Anejo...
I thought El tesoro had it. Upset of the week?
I like herradura, but i love me my el tesoro. Tesoro manages to romance my taste buds just a little longer than herradura, which is what I love in a spirit/wine/drink.
It was close though..

cant wait till next friday..

I thought this was a very interesting round of fights. I felt that all the tequilas were very different. Not to mention it was hard to determine the repos due to the huge price difference. Without price being a factor, I would choose Penca Azul but considering price I would choose the Corzo. I went without price and chose the Penca Azul. On the Blancos, I am a huge fan of Casa Noble silver. Plus, I think the 4 Copas Blanco is too spicy. Lastly, even though I am a huge fan of El Tesoro I had to go with the Herradura. I have always thought that E.T. anejo was their only product that is lacking perfection. Like always, these are my opinions. I look forward to hearing other opinions on these fights.

Nicely stated!

I was actually surprised as well at the Anejo bout, El Tesoro seemed to be out in front the entire weekend.

Either blanco could've won, both are great contenders. Who knows, there could be a rematch someday.

The close fights are fun, I'll try and pay more attention to pricing in the upcoming weeks.

Maybe a cage match too with 10 to 15 products would be fun.

Sounds good, can't wait to see the next fights. The cage match sounds interesting as well.

Gotta through in a wild card mezcal in the cage match... just to spice things up.

Definitely will start throwing in some mezcal, and may pair the HDC sotol against something. I almost went with a luche libre mexcian wrestling theme, but liked the sound of Friday Night AGAVE Fights better.

Post any pairing ideas you want to see, I have a couple suggestions already.
