Long answer: Don't forget to consider the farm, not just the product when you see that "organic" label on tequila, or any of the other food groups for that matter.

Think about the soil management, weed control, farm workers' health, nutrient leeching, biodiversity, composting, and ALL the other organisms involved in the process of labeling ANYthing "organic, before you bitch about how ridiculous it is. On the other hand, tequila from China is probably cheaper...

Cool first post huh?
Wow, just sad...

Behind the sarcasm, you do make a decent point. Although it is much better to make friends on your first day of school or nobody will take up for you later, my mom taught me that on the way to my first big class in 6th grade.

My apologies guys, just some light ribbing. It's the internet, and topic is tequila and Texas. Someone's bound to get offensive when those three things combine.

Behind the sarcasm and questionable humor at someone else's expense, I'm just offering that organic farming is generally a good thing, no matter what the product is. There's tons of foods that don't technically need to be organic, (like bananas because the pesticides can't make it through the peel), but the farm from which they come is still a healthier place to be.
