I realize blancos are the best for making margaritas because of that. But I cant get myself to purchase a nice blanco because I have a harder time sipping on that straight. I love margaritas but my ideal margarita comes with a shot beside it

and if your like me and broke most of the time, you cant afford to get your premium blanco for 'ritas and premium anejo for sipping on the side.
What are some not so expensive blancos to make a Margarita out of? What do yall think about Jose Cuervo Platina? Its on sale by my house for 54.99 right now....thats still a little high, although it did get good member reviews on the site.
