Perhaps you can find a tasting or a bar to try it, bn. I was lucky enough to be at my local liquor store and the manager offered me a taste of DM and it was ok, not really for me. I remember it being very smokey and strong alcohol burn and I think 100 proof or something like that which probably accounted for the burn. I'm sure if I tried other varities I would find some that I like, but I'll just stay with tequila for now.
