Tasted out of high ball double glass. This is a very decent silver tequila. One word that comes to my mind with this one is 'peppery'. Peppery seemed to be the theme throughout the tasting.
Aroma: A very peppery nose with agave and earthy hints.
Initial Taste: A little bitter, but that passes quickly.
Body: Intense agave followed by earthy and peppery tones.
Finish: A heated finish of long duration.

Tasted out of Double Ball glass. Patron anejo just didn't do it for me. I'm just not a fan of the Patron line. It's just my humble opinion.
Aroma: Simple agave and wood.
Initial Taste: On tip of tongue, there was bitterness.
Body: Agave, earth, wood, and caramel. but a little watery.
Finish: Of short duration with a small alcohol burn.

Tasted on 08/04/08 out of snifter. So I finally got around to tasting this blanco. I'm sad to say that i don't really think its all that great. It's not bad by any means. But I don't think it's the best either. It seems that I'm just not a huge fan of what comes out of this distillery.
Aroma: Agave, earth, spices.
Initial Taste: A little sweet, but weak. Yet no bitterness.
Body: Tasted very basic to me. Basic agave and earth.
Finish: Of medium duration, with no burn.
Just not very complex to me.

Tasted 07/28/08 out of shot glass. A shot glass isnt my favorite to taste a tequila, so I treated it as a high ball double glass. I liked this lines anejo much more than their blanco. Not my favorite anjeo, but it aint the worst either.
Aroma: A nice cooked agave and caramel presence.
Initial Taste: Very sweet on the tongue, a little too much for my taste.
Bosy: Very sweet caramel, agave, and earth.
Finish: Of short duration, but no burn!

Tasted 07/30/08 out of a snifter. El Tesoro anjeo was amazing. Now that Ive delved into the world of anejos, I thought it be a good idea to try the anejo of one of my favorite blancos. And I was pleased as punch! I liked that it wasn't too 'syrupy' as I've experienced with some anejos I've tried.
