Tasted on 10/2/08 out of double ball glass. Since I wasn't too impressed with their blanco, I wasn't expecting much further down their line. But I have to admit, their reposado is much tastier to me than their blanco. A very nice sipper.

Aroma: Very intense floral and agave.
Initial Taste: Upon entry, a semi oily feel, sweet with no bitterness.
Body: Intense agave and floral, with a hint of caramel and cinnamon.
Finish: A slightly heated finish of medium to long duration. The flavor of this one lingers for a while.

Tasting this tequila showed me that not all tequilas can be judged by their blanco. Go figure.

Tasted on 10/01/08 out of a snifter glass. I gotta say, I was very impressed with this reposado. VERY impressed. A very smooth and complex experience from start to finish. Quite possibly my favorite reposado. You'd have to be a fool to mix this gem. The best part was that this bottle was a birthday gift! What a great friend!

Aroma: A very pleasant nose of agave, caramel, and fruit.
Initial Taste: A semi oily mouth feel. Upon entry, a nice sweet with no bitterness.
Body: A wonderful agave body, complimented by caramel, fruit and spices.
Finish: A semi heated finish of medium duration, with a nice agave aftertaste.

I'm gonna have another sip...

Tasted on 09/29/08 out of a double ball glass. I don't see myself ever ordering this tequila again. Always bear in mind that this is just my opinion. I have an extreme dislike for black licorice and coffee, two aromas and tastes I found in this tequila. If you like these two, this is definitely your thing.

Aroma: Quite unique. Black licorice citrus, and agave.
Initial Taste: It all started out really nice, but went downhill quickly. A thin mouth feel, with slight bitterness. Starting out as citrus and agave.
Body: Turned into straight up black licorice, coffee, and agave.
Finish: A very heated finish with a mild alcohol burn.

A very unique tasting experience, yet not my cup of tea.

Tasted out of snifter glass at home. Let's see here. A bit to share. Overall, a very watered down tasting tequila without much character at all. Yet for $20 bucks a good value (i.e. i got what I paid for?). I guess this one could be used as a mixer, but even at that, I would assume that the taste of this particular tequila would be lost since I could barely taste it as a sipper.

Aroma: A faint agave aroma.
Initial Taste: A light sweetness, a thin mouth feel, no bitterness.
Body: Again, very faint agave.
Finish: A quick light finish with no burn.

Just not much character for me. But like I said, at $20 dollars, did I get what I paid for? It certainly wouldn't scare off people who are afraid of tequila, thats for sure!

Tasted out of a snifter glass on 9/27/08. I was somewhat letdown with this blanco. I expected more. Maybe it was the presentation that got me interested. But I don't see myself wanting to have this one again. Just not very memorable for me.

Aroma: A very citrus, peppery nose. But this was where the citrus ended.
Initial Taste: An oily mouth feel with a light heated bitterness.
Body: Very simple: Agave and earth. That's it!
Finish: A long heated finish with a slight alcohol burn.
