January 16, 2008 One of my first nice reposado's. The golden color in the shapely bottle speaks of "smooth". Not far off. The nose is not too complex, hints of fruit and cinnamon and mildly smoky-sweet. Clings nicely to the sides of the glass. Initial taste is light and airy, not expected of a reposado. Clings to the palate and finishes smooth with a slight smoky/woody finish. Overall easy to drink and enjoyable, not intimidating. Our draconian state taxes inflates the price unnecessarily, my only complaint.
