December 24, 2007 I love drinking blanco tequila on the rocks with a squeeze of lime. Sacrilege? Maybe, but it's how I like it. So normally when I rate a tequila I rate it the way I drink it.

But there's no need for lime or anything else with Patron Platinum. It is quite simply the best tasting blanco on the planet. Smooth, mild, with a hint of fruit almost like honey dew melon ending with a beautiful agave finish and a hint of mint. The presentation is outstanding.

This is the blanco I find myself comparing everything else to and while I like Casa Nobles, I love Patron Platinum.
