Don Julio Anejo NOM 1449 Tasted 12/5/2007:
Color golden khaki with lemon chiffon reflections. Legs fragmented with slow oily drop. Spotty finish with constant yet hesitant drops. Agave roots from the bottom rising to an increasingly subtle sweet vanilla top rim. Refreshingly light on first touch with honey oak start, slight pepper middle that fades in taste but not in warmth, through a thick and lasting sweet honey vanilla finish.

Color clear with a 'crystal sparkle' when viewed in a Riedel Ouverture glass. Very slow but pervasive breakdown from top to bottom. Narrow leg speed acceleration downward with spotty top. Smells of agave from bottom to top of rim with moderate reduction on the move up. Exceptionally smooth and subtle start, lasting pepper middle and little aftertaste.

El Tesoro De Don Felipe Reposado NOM 1139 Tasted 11/14/2007: Color reminiscent of Champagne. Legs weak but oily. Rapid breakdown and branching from top to bottom. Very spotty at the top of the swirl after time. Smells of floral from the bottom and increases steadily with the rise to the top rim. Earthy start, strong pepper middle and honey oak finish with very little residual aftertaste.
