January 20, 2008 Querido Viejo tasted 1/18/08. Nice presentation. Rustic wooden box. Blue-green blown glass bottle with etched agave plant and glass stopper. On first taste, strong to medium floral, slightly sweet with lighter hints of oak. Pale gold in color. Nose is strong of fruit and spice. Finish is surprisingly mild and short. Overall a refreshingly light reposado. Great for new tequila drinkers or super-tasters that prefer a lighter agave flavor.
