Don Eduardo Tequila Silver, NOM 1110. Crystal clear in color. Sweet spice & agave nose. Sweet fruit with citrus aftertaste evolving into light cinnamon & pepper. Extremely clean & smooth with a slightly hot, middle to back of the tongue finish, leaving with a floral, totally memorable taste sensation. Absolutely no alcohol smell or taste from start to finish, only the essence of agave. A+, top shelf. Quite a remarkable tequila experience.

El Mayor Tequila Blanco, NOM 1143, Batch #244, Bottle #52. I've tasted this spirit on numerous occasions primarily in Margarita's, but also in shots, trying to see if I've missed some positive attribute. It's been the same every time. Neutral agave nose with medium alcohol. The initial taste is floral & peppery with alcohol overtones & after burn. Light to medium body with a lingering, middle of the tongue finish that rolls off the palate in a diminishing fashion. I would have rated the presentation higher if it wasn't for the disappointing plastic cork. Uniquely shaped bottle. Reasonably priced. B-, not top shelf. Más refinamiento necesitado aquí!
