El Tesoro repo was my 2nd big tequila I drank. I went from Herradura reposado, to El Tesoro Repo, to what I drink most now...Casa Noble Repo.

I love the story of how it's made, I love the constancy of the product, I love the taste, but I hate the new bottle.

The original bottle style was more suited to the story of how it's made in the old ways.

I haven't tasted it in some time so I won't post specific details. Next time I have a caballito I'll come back and add more!

I've been drinking Corralejo Repo in my Palomas for about 6 years now. It's one of the few Reposados that I used for mixing because it has such strong Agave flavor.

An incredible agave nose that beats a lot of others than I actually enjoy more than Corralejo.

The body is on the lighter side of medium with lots of pepper and fruity zest. The Finish is clean with a slight burn of sharp alcohol on the exhale.

Corralejo is back to being 100% agave. It dropped that label for a few years. From the story I heard, there was an agave shortage and they went to 70% blue agave for that short time period.

Pricing is nice. Should run in the low to mid $30's.

The triple distilled repo has a lot of the same taste characteristics with less "bite" than the standard. If drinking straight, I would recommend the Triple distilled. It should run about $15-20 more.

Casa Noble is the ideal Reposado. Whenever I try new Repos I always end up comparing them to Casa Noble. I also think that the Reposado is the best tequila in the Casa Noble lineup.

For a true agave flavor that is not masked by excess aging, this repo is medium bodied with a balanced finish. Unmistakable floral and herb notes throughout with a tinge of vanilla spice on the finish.

I even use the color, a light hay/straw, as a benchmark for repo comparisons.

I put this tequila easily in the top 5 reposados made.

I was floored by this Reposado. It drinks just like an anejo with makes me wonder what the difference is in their aging.

Clase Azul is made by Productos Finos de Agave in Los Altos de Jalisco.

I had read that the original bottling of this tequila was done by La Cofradia of Casa Noble fame but now Productos Finos has their own plant since 1996.

A buttery smooth repo with a caramel overtone and hints of vanilla spice. If you like the agave taste of reposados you will probably not like this one as it drinks much more like a great anejo than a repo.

A terrificly smooth tequila that I can't wait to drink more of.

A few more notes: They use stone ovens and double distill. Aging is in oak barrels but haven't found out if they are new or charred.

Absolutely the BEST sipping tequila. If price were no object, this is what I would drink everyday.
