WOW! I was planning on bashing this tequila just based upon bottle design. But wow, it just made my top 5 list. It reminds of Los Abuelos blanco, but with not quite as much peppermint.
The price is a little steep especially for an "El Tesoro" bottle with a shampoo cap stopper!

Wow! This is a fantastic tequila. It is on my top 5 mabye even top 3 of all time. It has everything it should with nothing it shouldn't. No "overoak syndrome" like its competitors, mellow, balanced flavors, even new flavors I havn't tasted before. Price is high, but considering the quality and the fact it is cheaper than its direct competitors, it is well worth it!

It is a much better product than it appears! It is 100% agave although the label doesn't say so (apparently there is a new label in the works for the U.S.) It is similar to the Cazadores reposado; True agave flavor, hot and Fiery with a little oak. Would make a great margarita!

An interesting Anejo. It is aged in dry sherry barrels rather than sweet sherry like the Buscadores or other sherry finished Tequilas. The aging lends to a dry tequila unlike anything else on the market (think Cabernet Sauvignon Tannins). The finish is similar to a high quality reposado more than an anejo, however, it is still worth a try for someone looking for a unique, well made product.

One of the better Mezcals on the market today. Scorpion 5 year is an awesome product that takes the barrel aging well. Unfortunately, it is expensive and even a little overpriced in the high end mezcal market.
