I've finally got around to trying this anejo and it's quite good. It's a little light in color for an anejo but it doesn't matter. The aroma is very agave, no oak and very little vanilla. Taste is very smooth not too hot, just right. The finish is also smooth with very little alcohol burn. While I do prefer a more aged and oaky anejo this one was still very good and I'll buy it again.

This is a very fine Anejo, it has the balance of both excellent agave and aged oak flavors. I don't think anyone can complain that it's too much of either. What a perfect marriage. The nose starts out with heavy vanilla and cinnamon that tricks you at first but after the first sip, the agave hits you hard but not harsh. The body is pleasant and the finish hints of caramel with not too much alcohol burn. The bottle is simple, but elegant. I guarantee that this Anejo will please even the most skeptical critic. Enjoy!!!

I really enjoy this anejo. It is very simple, has a sweet aroma, lots of oak , vanilla, a little smoke and spice. It is smooth but the finish is a little weak, but still a great tequila for the price. The presentation is ok, a little simple, but I like the cool cardboard tube it comes in.

I finally got around to reviewing this Anejo and while it isn't great, it's not too bad. I guess you could call it a 'good drinking' tequila. It has some good oak tones with a hint of vanilla and spices. The finish is very smooth on the tongue. I compared it with some Gran Centenario Anejo I had on hand and they were very similar although I could tell the difference. The best thing I do like about this tequila is the product your getting for the price, thanks to a tip from another poster on here it's well worth it. So go and get a bottle for youself and try it, you won't be disappointed.

I recieved this tequila as a gift in March'06, finally opened it on Christmas'06. I was a little leary seeing the Cuervo name but after one sip all that disappeared. It has a peculiar nose and a very strong vanilla scent. You can taste the agave but also the oak, I know it's strange but they seem to have it balanced perfectly. The only thing I don't care for is the price, but at least I didn't buy this one ;)
