May 09, 2008 The aroma of this tequila is very fruity with pear, melon and grapefruit. The initial taste is oak, vanilla, caramel, and sharp cheddar cheese. While the body is tangy and slightly oily, the finish is quite smooth, easy on the tongue with a fruity agave flavor and slight alcohol burn. At the time I purchased this bottle I paid $40, I think it's a very good price for this well made tequila. The presentation is a very well designed, heavy bottle. Overall this tequila is now in my top 10.

 April 03, 2008 The nose has lots of caramel,leather. Taste has butter, vanilla, sweet with a little spice and subtle well balanced oak. It's a full-bodied anejo with a slight oily feel, very little alcohol burn with good agave flavor. At a price of $42, it's a steal! Very attractive modern looking bottle. It's easy to see why this anejo won the gold at the 2008 Agave Spirits Challenge, you will love it.

 February 27, 2008 Not too bad for a mixto. I received this by accident in a shipment from Hi Times. They corrected the mistake and let me keep this as a gift. The aroma is full of vanilla and caramel. The taste is at first a little harsh then it smooths. It does finish with some alcohol burn but now I think I know why ;). The retail price is about $50, I wouldn't pay that for it but for $20, maybe. It might be good in a margarita, but I'd rather use an inexpensive 100% repo for that.

 December 04, 2007 This is a wonderful tequila. Lots of agave with cinnamon and pepper. It's a very young anejo, but don't let that fool you, it is very smooth. The finish is very mild not much alcohol burn and very refreshing. You won't be disappointed, I give it a B+ or A-. Enjoy :)

 November 16, 2007 At first taste I was very disappointed. It had a lot of alcohol burn, I tried it in a wine glass very similar to a tequila glass, then I put it in a wider shorter glass and it was much better, I guess it needed to breathe more. It has a nice amber color, slight nose of caramel but also harsh burnt smell. The mouth as I said before burns and the finish just isn't very good. I would rate the tequila C-. Don't waste you time. :(
