1921 has a distinctive story, i can appreciate this, Tequila 1921 Repo. is one of many reposados that i consider top notch, even though getting that darn wax cork out is so damn hard, once you get in there though it's definitely worth it, this reposado has characteristics similar to it's blanco counterpart only with more of a smokiness and of course the oakines that comes along with it, for some strange reason i find this too be way more smoother than the blanco, but in my opinion repos and anejos are more smoother to me any way, i guess the oakiness really gets me, that's what i consider smooth, almost like a really good scotch or whiskey, a definite characteristic i look for in a reposado, very well balanced and made.

Tequila El Mayor, is a really good tequila to have on your shelf, this Sliver has been through a lot of hit and miss trail periods, but has always been able to stay afloat, Mr Gonzalez, told me how much they have put into this silver to make sure it stays pure, Tequila El Mayor has come out on top with this silver, a really smooth silver with notes of Agave, citrus, a slight smokiness, and pepper, it keeps true to the pureness of a true tequila Blanco, and with it's award winning bottle design, this is one u can show off to your friends.

What award hasn't this tequila won.... Don Eduardo is actually one of the first brands i ever really considered premium, especially the Silver, now at first i was turned away by the whole triple distilled label, but it really does make the silver smoother, does it take away from the pure agave flavor, yes, but it makes up for it in body and finish, Don Eduardo will always have a place on my top shelf.

Chaya, is a favorite of mine, and an all around delicious tequila, very well made with, a beautiful aroma of, of course agave, and equal amounts of citrus, this tequila is hands down excellent, the taste is very inviting, and the body very balanced, it has a rich texture that certainly is rarely found in light bodied blancos, but very pleasing, this tequila is an excellent choice to any collection.

Casa Noble Crystal stands alone, enough said. The Hermosillo family have really done their homework, countless years of experience and tradition have put this Silver, in a class of it's own. This is what all Silvers should strive to be, Casa Noble Crystal. The Aroma is all Agave, sure you have hints of citrus, and pepper, but it's main characteristic is simply the agave, it's undeniable, Casa Noble Crystal has a smooth taste, that once it sits in your mouth slowly seeps through your senses and does a number on you, this tequila is very deceiving, you expect excellent quality from the Hermosillo family, but what you get is Extraordinary quality, above and beyond, and certainly a very memorable one at that, with a smooth taste with notes of citrus, buttery, and pepper, and even a little floral, they all seem to intertwine and make the perfect combination, and certainly one of the best, if not the best finishes i have ever had in a Blanco.
