I tried this at a Binnys store in Chicago as it was being sampled in the store. They also had a $10 rebate on it and it was priced at $16.99. That should have been my first warning!! I was really surprised to find out it was 100% agave when I tried it as it had a real alcohol burn. So much that I really couldn't taste any agave flavor.

I would not recommend this as a sipper, but it would be fine in a margarita especially with the $10 rebate.

A very nice reposado, great balance between smokiness and agave flavor. It had a aroma and aftertaste that reminded me of bourbon, maybe from the aging. I liked it as I am also a bourbon lover.

I always consider if the reposado is suitable for long term sipping to get a rating in the 90's with me and this one sure did. Even though I usually prefer a sweeter agave taste I still like this product.

This was really cool with the peppers actually floating in the bottle. I am a real pepper lover so I was excited to try this.
The aroma was a bit weak on pepper smell, but a good agave aroma. The product was amazing light and sweet. It was not heavy at all, very light on the palate. The peppers were dry with low flavor, not hot at all but it was missing a sweet pepper flavor. I nice diversion for the price. but I could use a bit more tequila and pepper flavor.

I liked it but it was a bit less than what I expected.

Very light, very smooth. Sweet agave flavor, although a bit too light for my taste. I am going to try their reposado as I thought this tasted really good but I prefer the smoky addition that they againg gives it.

I recommend this for those who may be just starting their tequila journey as it a really good, smooth spirit.

After getting to experience some of the great tequilas available today I had to go back and try Cuervo Gold (a staple from m college days) to see how it compared, My bad!!

What was I thinking, how can this be the most popular tequila in the world!? It is hot, bitter and downright sour to the taste. I could not get agave out of the flavor at any point.

Now I know why they wanted me to use lemon and salt to kill the flavor.
There are so many other tequilas out there that cost less and can be a much better experience. Don't pay the premium for Cuervo, no matter what the sampling girls look like at your local bar.
