May 27, 2007 Casa Noble Reposado NOM 1137 Tasted 1/13/07. The tequila is a pale yellow color and has an intense floral, earth, fruit, and vanilla aromas. Once you get past the intensity of the nose, you can smell mild notes of spice, caramel, and smoke. On the tip of the tongue the tequila is mellow and soft and feels thin and oily in the mouth. While the tequila has a hint bitterness, it is actually fairly sweet and syrupy. Now onto flavor. The flavor has intense fruit. The intense flavors are followed by moderate agave, floral, and vanilla with mild earth and spice. The tequilas finish is a medium duration of flavor followed by a slight tingly alcohol feeling. Overall, I rated this tequila at the B level.

 May 27, 2007 Cabo Wabo Reposado NOM 1467 Tasted 3/2/07. With a yellow golden color, Cabo Wabo Reposado has intense aromas of earthy and floral scents. Less apparent are mild smoke and spice aromas with a hint of caramel and vanilla. Upon initial taste, the tequila has an oily mouth feel and is soft and mellow on the tip of the tongue. Intense flavors of floral, fruit, and earth accents are followed by moderate agave and spice flavors. The finish consists of a hot tingly alcohol intensity and a medium duration of flavor. I rate this tequila at the B range.

A soft mellow entry leads to a very sweet taste, with low bitterness and heavy agave flavor. While there is intense agave and floral flavors, the tequila also has moderate fruity flavors that are followed by mild accents of earth, vanilla, and spice. The tequila finishes with a medium duration of flavor and a numbing alcohol finish. Overall, I gave the tequila an A.

 May 27, 2007 4 Copas Reposado NOM 1457 Tasted 3/5/07. The tequila is a yellow golden color with intense floral and earthy aromas. A soft mellow entry leads to a sweet taste, with low bitterness and moderate-to-heavy agave flavor. While there is moderate-to-heavy agave flavor, the tequila has moderate earthy and floral flavors with mild fruit, caramel, and smoke. The tequila finishes with a long duration of flavor and a numbing alcohol finish. Overall, I gave the tequila an A-.

 May 27, 2007 Sauza Tres Generations Silver ? NOM 1102 ? Tasted 12/27/06. The tequila is clear in color. Beginning with intense fruity and floral aromas, the deeper aromas include moderate spice and mild earthy scents. On the tip of the tongue there is a slight burning sensation that is followed by a sweet-to-syrupy, low bitter taste. Upon tasting, the tequila has intense floral and moderate agave, earth, and fruity flavors. Sauza Tres Generations Silver tequila finishes with a medium-to-long duration of flavor and a numbing, tingly alcohol intensity. Overall, I rate this tequila at the ?B+? level.
