Corzo Reposado NOM 1487 Tasted 12/29/06. With a pale yellowish golden color, Corzo Reposado has intense aromas of floral, earth, and spice. Moderate aromas consist of fruit and smoke. The tequila has no bitterness to it and a semi sweet aftertaste. Initial flavors are intense agave, earth, and floral. There are also moderate spicy and fruity flavors. A slight tingly alcohol intensity and a medium duration of flavor bring this tequila experience to an end. This tequila received the rating of A-/B+.

Corralejo Triple Distilled Reposado NOM 1368 Tasted 3/19/07. With a pale yellow color, Corralejo Triple Distilled Reposado has intense aromas of floral and fruit. Mild aromas consist of earth, spice, and smoke. The tequila has a low bitterness to it and a sweet aftertaste. Initial flavors are intense earth and smoke. There are also moderate floral and agave flavors. A numbing alcohol intensity and a long duration of flavor bring this tequila experience to an end. This tequila received the rating of B/B+.

Corralejo Reposado NOM 1368 Tasted 4/8/07. The tequila is a very pale yellow color. Beginning with intense earthy and floral aromas, the deeper aromas include moderate spice and a hint of smokey and fruity scents. On the tip of the tongue there is a mellow and soft sensation that is followed by a sweet, low bitter taste. Upon tasting, the tequila has intense floral, earth, fruit, and agave with moderate spicy and smokey flavors. Corralejo Reposado tequila finishes with a medium-to-long duration of flavor and numbing alcohol intensity. Overall, I rate this tequila at the B/B+ level.

Corazon Reposado NOM 1440 Tasted 1/13/07. The tequila is yellowish in color and has an intense earthy, floral, and spice aromas. Once you get past the intensity of the nose, you can smell mild notes of fruit, vanilla, and smoke. On the tip of the tongue the tequila is mellow and soft but yet has a moderate agave taste. While the tequila has a low bitterness, it is actually fairly sweet. The flavor has intense agave, earth, and floral attributes which are followed by moderate spice and fruit. Lastly, there are mild flavors of smoke accents. The tequilas finish is a medium duration of flavor followed by a tingling, hot alcohol feeling. Overall, I rated this tequila at the B level.

Clase Azul Reposado NOM 1416 Tasted 1/8/07. The tequila is a golden brown color and has intense floral and earth aromas. Once you get past the intense nose, you can smell moderate notes of fruit and spice followed by mild vanilla and caramel. On the tip of the tongue the tequila is mellow and soft but yet has a full intensity of taste. While the tequila has low bitterness, it is actually fairly sweet. Now onto flavor. The flavor has intense agave, earth, and floral attributes which are followed by mild vanilla, spice, fruit, and caramel. The tequilas finish is an medium duration of flavor followed by a tingly alcohol feeling. Overall, I rated this tequila at the A+ level and would definitely recommend that everyone try this masterpiece.
