La Cofradia Tequila Anejo
Anejos
Submitted by Tequila.net     September 05, 2011
Bought in Cabo San Lucas in December 2011 for 16.95 US for a 375 bottle. Knowing that it is the same NOM that produces one of my faves, Casa Noble, I was curious to try. Tried in a snifter on January 12, 2012. Nose is lovely with that CN edge to it, but the initial taste seemed very anisette to me. Thick tears. Great finish, little burn and a warming sensation. This is a solid anejo that would be great for folks building a collection on a budget. I love the look of the bottle - (although the the cork is rubber, not true cork), but it's a great looking bottle with enjoyable juice. Would recommend this and buy it again.
