Tequila, Jalisco - March 2006 - Casa Noble unveiled the new version of its multi-awarded Crystal tequila at a brilliant ceremony, during an historic tasting event that gathered more than 30 tequila experts and aficionados from the famed Ian Chadwick's Mumpsimus tequila forum, that has well over 700 members worldwide and has become a standard reference point for tequila aficionados all over the world. The event took place at the new Tequila Museum at La Cofradia distillery, the first museum of its type inside an actual distillery in the city of Tequila.

The group of VIP visitors from USA and Canada were greeted with a special tour that included a visit to the production facilities and agave fields of La Cofradia. Just before dinner, four huge tables were set inside the Museum's gallery to host the premier event of the evening. Each participant found a snifter and 2 Riedel tequila glasses, bottled water, a tequila tasting sheet form and a book about Mexican Museums. Casa Noble's CEO Jose Hermosillo and Carlos Hernandez President of Casa Noble presented the group with a superb guided tasting session led by famed specialists Cor and Chelle Knijnenburg of Tequilatastings.com. The BIG announcement immediately followed: they all were about to become the first people to ever taste the NEW Casa Noble Crystal, the highly acclaimed 100% agave ultra-premium, triple distilled blanco.

The special presentation of this improved product came directly from Jose Hermosillo, and the FIRST bottle was given to none other than Ian Chadwick himself. A visibly emotional Ian gratefully accepted this exceptional gift, becoming the first person ever to own a bottle of the new Crystal. The guided tasting followed by an unanimous rave about the exquisite texture and great smoothness of the new Casa Noble Crystal which will be in stores in April.

Among the notable guests of this worldwide launching event were Mark Cannon from Pocotequila.com, tequila importers Todd Bowen and Clark Munkel, tequila collector and Mumpsimus moderator Harry Reifschneider, the organizer of The New Mexico International Tequila Experience Mike Morales, and famed tequila connoisseur Lirubis. This milestone event gathered a group of very special people whose love and dedication for the cause of true, 100% agave tequilas is truly remarkable.
