Heaven Hill Aquires Partial Ownership in Two Tequila Brands PDF Print E-mail

Heaven Hill Distilleries Inc. has formed a partnership with tequila company Tierra de Agaves in which Heaven Hill will have joint ownership of the Lunazul and La Certeza brands.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Lunazul is a super-premium, 100 percent agave tequila offered in both Blanco ($19.99) and Reposado ($21.99) bottlings. La Certeza is a 100 percent agave tequila available in Blanco ($40), Reposado ($45) and Anejo ($60) bottlings. Both brands are produced in Tequila, Mexico.

Bardstown, Ky.-based Heaven Hill Distilleries' brand portfolio includes Evan Williams Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Hpnotiq Liqueur, Whaler's Rum and Pama Pomegranate Liqueur.
